Wehrli Custom Fab is a USA-based manufacturer known for their Duramax diesel intake and piping products, and this Stage 1 bundle is their entry-level airflow upgrade for the 2006-2007 LBZ platform. Finished in their Illusion Purple powder coat, it covers the Y-bridge and both intercooler pipes in a single kit.

The stock Y-bridge on LBZ trucks uses a slip-fit connection that can separate under boost, which leads to poor drivability, lost fuel economy, and reduced power. Wehrli's 3-inch bolt-together replacement uses mandrel-bent tubing with CNC machined billet flanges to create a secure seal. The driver side intercooler pipe steps up from the factory 2.5-inch diameter to 3 inches and eliminates the reverse bead roll at the turbo that is prone to blowing off. The passenger side uses a 3.5-inch pipe fabricated from 14-gauge aluminum with CNC flanges and double O-ring seals, plus an upgraded silicone hump boot and stainless T-bolt clamp.

Flow improvements are 36% on the Y-bridge and 47% on the cold side pipe compared to OEM, according to Wehrli. No tuning required, and it works on stock trucks. All hardware, seals, and gaskets come in the box.
