Stage 3 includes everything in the Stage 2 bundle plus a 3 in. stainless steel turbo down pipe with heat wrap. The down pipe reduces exhaust back pressure after the turbocharger for better spool-up and throttle response.

Does this kit require a tune or any modifications?

No tuning is required. The Stage 3 bundle bolts onto a stock 07.5-10 LMM Duramax with no modifications. All factory connection points and sensors are retained.

Is this kit CARB compliant?

Wehrli's Stage 3 High Flow Bundle Kit in Bengal Grey addresses every airflow restriction on the 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax -- intake side and exhaust side -- in a single package. It combines the full Stage 2 intake and intercooler piping upgrade with a 3 in. stainless steel turbo down pipe for improved flow throughout the entire system.

Cold air enters through a 4 in. aluminum intake pipe with an enclosed air box and dry filter assembly. The 4.8 in. turbo intake horn flows 20% better than the factory piece. An Outerwears hydrophobic pre-filter protects the MAF sensor and turbo from contaminants between filter services.

Intercooler Piping and Y-Bridge Replacement

A 3 in. driver-side and 3.5 in. passenger-side intercooler pipe replace the undersized factory components. Both are 14 ga. aluminum with mandrel bends. The cold-side pipe flows 47% better than stock. CNC machined flanges with double O-ring seals and upgraded silicone boots eliminate the boost leaks that come from worn factory rubber and plastic fittings.
