Does this kit require a tune?

No tuning is required. The kit bolts directly onto a stock 07.5-10 LMM Duramax. All factory sensors, connection points, and emissions controls are retained.

Most engine bays look the same. This Wehrli Stage 3 High Flow Bundle Kit in Brizzle Blue changes that while solving every airflow limitation on the 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax platform. The complete kit replaces the intake system, intercooler piping, Y-bridge, and adds a stainless steel turbo down pipe.

Starting at the air filter, a 4 in. aluminum intake pipe with enclosed air box and dry filter draws cold air through the inner fender. The 4.8 in. turbo intake horn flows 20% better than the factory piece. An Outerwears pre-filter cover adds protection for the MAF sensor and turbo.

Intercooler and Y-Bridge That Handle Boost

The factory intercooler piping is undersized and the slip-fit Y-bridge is a known failure point. This kit replaces them with a 3 in. driver-side and 3.5 in. passenger-side intercooler pipe (14 ga. aluminum, mandrel bends), plus Wehrli's bolt-together 3 in. Y-bridge. The cold-side pipe flows 47% better than stock, the Y-bridge flows 36% better, and CNC machined flanges with double O-ring seals keep everything sealed under boost.
