If your 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax is still running the stock intake tract, the weak link is the factory Y-bridge. It is a slip-fit two-piece design with minimal support that can blow apart under boost, and once it does, you lose drivability, fuel economy, and power. This Wehrli Stage 1 bundle in Bengal Blue addresses that problem along with both intercooler pipes in a single kit.

Wehrli's 3-inch Y-bridge uses a bolt-together design with CNC machined billet flanges and mandrel-bent tubing, creating a sealed connection where the air inlet horn meets the bridge. The driver side intercooler pipe jumps from the OEM 2.5-inch diameter to 3 inches, eliminating the reverse bead-roll connection at the turbo that fails under higher boost. On the passenger side, a 3.5-inch pipe fabricated from 14-gauge aluminum replaces the aging factory plastic piece. CNC flanges with double O-ring seals, new wire clip rings, and an upgraded silicone boot with a stainless T-bolt clamp handle the connections.

Wehrli reports 36% better flow from the Y-bridge and 47% from the cold side pipe versus stock. The kit retains the factory throttle valve, grid heater, and EGR controls. No tuning needed, and all hardware is included. Made in the USA.
