Replacing the intake tract on a 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax addresses one of the most common failure points on these trucks. The factory Y-bridge is a slip-fit design that separates under boost, and the stock intercooler pipes are undersized and use connections that do not hold up to higher pressures. This Wehrli Stage 1 bundle in WCFab Grey powder coat replaces all of them.

The 3-inch Y-bridge is a bolt-together two-piece unit with CNC machined billet flanges and mandrel bends throughout. It provides a sealed connection where the air inlet horn meets the bridge, something the factory design does not achieve reliably. The driver side intercooler pipe steps up from 2.5 to 3 inches and eliminates the problematic bead-roll turbo connection. The passenger side pipe goes to 3.5 inches, built from 14-gauge aluminum with CNC machined flanges, double O-ring seals, wire clip rings, and an upgraded silicone hump boot clamped with stainless T-bolt hardware.

Wehrli reports 36% and 47% flow improvements on the Y-bridge and cold side pipe, respectively. The kit retains the factory throttle valve, grid heater, and EGR controls, and no tuning is required. Made in the USA with all hardware included.
