When you're pushing more power through your Duramax diesel, especially on a 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra, keeping the rear axle from twisting is crucial. This Wehrli Custom Fabrication traction bar kit is built to handle that job. You get a pair of 60-inch heavy-duty bars, frame-side brackets that can be bolted or welded on, and axle-side brackets that bolt directly to your U-bolt plates. It also includes all the necessary Grade 8 hardware to put it all together.

The connection points are designed to manage movement and vibration. At the frame, a rebuildable and greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint allows for adjustments if you change your truck's ride height or want to fine-tune the torsion. For the axle connection, durable Polyurethane bushings are used to cut down on noise and vibration, a common complaint with solid heim joints on both ends. The bars themselves are finished with a custom powder coat over an epoxy primer base, which Wehrli states offers more than ten times the corrosion resistance of a standard single coat. This kit is designed for a 100% bolt-on installation, though welding the front mounts is recommended for competition applications.
