These traction bars are built tough, with 60-inch long, heavy-duty bars that connect to your frame with brackets that weld on. The axle connection uses bolt-on mounts that fit right onto your axle tubes, utilizing the existing U-bolt locations. For the frame connection, Wehrli uses a rebuildable and greaseable RockJock 'Johnny Joint' heim, which allows for adjustments if you change your rear suspension height or want to fine-tune the axle's torsion. At the axle end, a heavy-duty polyurethane bushing is used to cut down on noise and vibration, a common issue if both ends use solid heim joints. All connections are secured with Grade 8 hardware for solid mounting.

The bars are finished with a gloss black powder coat over an epoxy primer base coat, which Wehrli states increases corrosion resistance significantly compared to a standard single-coat powder finish.
