Is Kiwi Green a standard or specialty color?

Kiwi Green is one of Wehrli's standard powder coat colors, priced the same as other standard finishes like Bengal Blue or Gloss Black.

Does the down pipe require welding during installation?

No. The down pipe uses a bolt-on 4-bolt flange connection at the DOC outlet and connects to the OEM front pipe. No welding is required.

Can I clean the dry filter or does it need to be replaced?

The removable air box lid provides easy access for inspection and maintenance. The Outerwears pre-filter cover can be removed and cleaned separately. Follow the filter manufacturer's instructions for cleaning or replacement intervals.

Product Details

Covering every major airflow restriction on the 2017-2019 L5P Duramax, this Wehrli Stage 3 bundle in Kiwi Green replaces the factory intake, both intercooler pipes, and the exhaust-side down pipe with fabricated aluminum and stainless components. It is a single kit that handles both the charge and exhaust paths.

Starting at the filter, a 4-inch aluminum intake pipe feeds through an enclosed air box with a dry filter element and Outerwears hydrophobic pre-filter cover. The intake horn is over an inch larger than stock and includes a PCV port and surge ring. All piping is 14-gauge aluminum with mandrel bends, and the system pulls cold air through the factory hood ram air duct. After the turbo, a one-piece 3-inch driver side intercooler pipe replaces the restrictive factory 2.5-inch two-piece resonator tube, while a 3.5-inch passenger side pipe with CNC machined flange and double O-ring seal replaces the factory plastic and rubber piece.

The 3.5-inch down pipe is ceramic coated and comes with heat wrap already installed. It replaces the crushed factory exhaust part and bolts to the DOC outlet using the OEM 4-bolt flange pattern. Factory sensor bungs are included. Wehrli reports 25 HP gains with their 4-inch turbo inlet when used with a max effort tune. No tuning required for the base installation. Made in the USA with all hardware included.
