Wehrli Custom Fabrication is known for building robust parts for high-performance diesel trucks. This 60-inch traction bar kit is designed to keep your 2020-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or GMC Sierra 2500 HD's rear axle planted, especially when you're putting down serious power or hauling heavy loads. Without them, increased torque can twist the axle, potentially damaging your driveshaft, pinion yoke, or even the axle housing itself.

These bars are built tough with heavy-duty 60-inch steel tubing. The frame-side mounts are designed to weld on for maximum strength, though Crew Cab Short Bed models offer a bolt-on option for easier installation. At the axle, they use U-bolts to attach sturdy brackets that house durable polyurethane bushings. These bushings help absorb some of the road noise and vibration you might get with solid heim joints on both ends. For the frame connection, Wehrli uses a rebuildable and greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint, which allows for adjustments if you change your suspension height or need to fine-tune the axle's torsion. All hardware included is Grade 8 for solid connections. The entire kit is finished with a durable gloss white powder coat over an epoxy primer base, which Wehrli states increases corrosion resistance significantly.

This kit comes with a lifetime warranty against bending or breaking for the original purchaser. While Crew Cab Short Bed models can be a 100% bolt-on installation, other cab and bed configurations will require frame modification and welding for proper installation. Welding the front mounts is also recommended for any competition applications to ensure maximum strength.
