If you're looking to add more power to your 2017-2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty, you'll want to consider a set of traction bars. When you significantly increase horsepower, especially in a diesel truck, the rear axle can twist under load. This twisting can lead to serious damage, like broken U-joints, driveshafts, or even a twisted axle housing. Wehrli's traction bar kit is built to prevent that from happening.

These bars are constructed from 60-inch heavy-duty steel and feature a gloss black finish, applied over an epoxy primer base coat for over ten times the corrosion resistance of a standard powder coat. The frame-side brackets are designed to be welded on, while the axle-side brackets bolt directly to your axle tubes using the existing U-bolt mounts. For adjustability and to handle suspension movement, the frame connection uses a rebuildable and greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint. At the axle, a heavy-duty polyurethane bushing is used to cut down on noise and vibration, a common issue when solid heim joints are used at both ends. All connections use Grade 8 hardware for a solid mount.

This kit is specifically designed for Crew Cab Short Bed models. If you have a different cab or bed configuration, or a lift kit taller than 5 inches, you may need a different part number.
