When you're pushing more power through your diesel truck, the axle can start to twist under load. This kit from Wehrli Custom Fabrication includes a pair of 60-inch traction bars designed to bolt to the bottom of your axle and weld to your frame, preventing that unwanted twist. This helps protect your U-joints, driveshafts, and even the axle housing itself from damage.

Wehrli uses a RockJock Johnny Joint at the frame connection, which is rebuildable and greaseable, allowing for adjustments if you change your rear suspension height. For the axle connection, they've opted for a heavy-duty polyurethane bushing. This choice helps cut down on the noise and vibration you might get from using solid heim joints at both ends, making for a more comfortable ride. The kit includes all the necessary Grade 8 hardware for a solid connection at both the frame and axle mounts. To finish it off, the bars are powder-coated in a WCFab Grey with an epoxy primer base coat, which the manufacturer states increases corrosion resistance significantly compared to a standard single coat.

This kit is specifically designed for Crew Cab Short Bed models. If you have a different cab or bed configuration, or a lift kit taller than 5 inches, you may need a different part number.
