It replaces the stock grid heater assembly to allow for maximum airflow from the intake horn directly into the cylinder head. Unlike kits that use crush gaskets, this one incorporates reusable O-ring seals on both sides, making installation clean and straightforward. You can easily swap back to the grid heater if needed for colder climates or specific regional requirements.
