This Wehrli Custom Fabrication traction bar kit is designed to do just that, preventing potential damage to your U-joints, driveshaft, and even the axle housing itself. You get the heavy-duty 68-inch bars, axle and frame side weld-on mounts, and all the necessary Grade 8 hardware to get them installed.

At the frame connection, this kit uses a rebuildable and greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint. This allows for adjustment if you change your ride height or need to fine-tune the torsion on the axle. For the axle connection, a heavy-duty polyurethane bushing is used. This helps reduce the noise and vibration that can sometimes come with using solid heim joints on both ends, making for a more comfortable ride. The bars themselves are finished with a durable Bengal Red custom powder coat over an epoxy primer base coat, which Wehrli states increases corrosion resistance significantly compared to a standard single coat.
