The kit includes weld-on mounts for both the axle and the frame. At the frame connection, you'll find a high-quality, rebuildable, and greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint heim connection. This allows for adjustment if you change your truck's ride height or want to fine-tune the torsion on the axle. For the axle connection, they use a heavy-duty polyurethane bushing. This choice helps reduce the noise and vibration that can sometimes come with using solid heim joints on both ends, making for a more comfortable ride. The bars themselves are 60 inches long and connect to the mounts using strong Grade 8 hardware. To ensure it holds up to the elements, Wehrli applies a durable semi-gloss black powder coat finish over an epoxy primer base coat, which they say increases corrosion resistance significantly compared to a standard single coat.
