When you're pushing more power through your diesel truck, especially with a lifted or lowered stance, keeping the rear axle from twisting becomes a real concern. This Wehrli Custom Fabrication traction bar kit is designed to handle that challenge, preventing issues like broken U-joints, driveshafts, or even warped axle housings. It’s a solid upgrade for a wide range of trucks, including popular models like the 1994-2010 Dodge/Ram 2500/3500 and the 1999-2010 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty, as well as newer Ram 2500/3500 models up to 2024.

The kit includes heavy-duty 60-inch bars with weld-on mounts for both the axle and the frame. At the frame connection, you get a rebuildable and greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint, which allows for adjustment if you change your truck's ride height or need to fine-tune the axle's torsion. For the axle connection, durable polyurethane bushings are used to help cut down on noise and vibration, a common complaint with solid heim joints on both ends. All connections use Grade 8 hardware for a strong, reliable assembly. The bars themselves are finished with a tough, custom red powder coat over an epoxy primer base, which Wehrli states offers more than ten times the corrosion resistance of a standard single coat.

This kit is designed for Regular Cab Long Bed, Crew Cab Short Bed, and Extended Cab Short Bed configurations. It’s a well-built solution to manage the forces generated by higher horsepower diesel engines and helps ensure your driveline stays straight and true under load.
