Product Details
This is a Wehrli MAF sensor weld bung, made from billet aluminum. It's designed to be welded onto a custom aluminum intake pipe for 2001-2007 LB7, LLY, and LBZ 6.6L Duramax engines. If you're building a custom intake for one of these trucks, this bung gives you a solid place to mount your Mass Air Flow sensor.
It's CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum right here in the USA. The bottom of the bung is cut with a radius to fit snugly against either 4-inch or 5-inch intake piping, which is a nice touch for custom fabrication. Wehrli also machined a small arrow on the sensor mounting pad to show you the correct direction of airflow, helping you get the sensor installed facing the right way. It uses M4 x 0.7mm threaded holes for mounting the sensor, though the hardware isn't included.
