Weld Racing's Alpha-1 in a 15x12-inch size with 5x4.5-inch bolt pattern and 3-inch backspacing is built for sportsman racers in the radial and small tire classes. This is a forged aluminum wheel with a black anodized center, polished shell, and black anodized beadlock rings on both sides. It is rated for drag strip use only.

The double beadlock design locks the tire bead in place on both the inner and outer lip of the wheel. On a hard launch, tire pressure drops momentarily as the sidewall flexes, and without a beadlock, the bead can slip on the rim. Double beadlocks address this from both sides, which matters when you are running low pressures for traction. The 15x12 size gives you a wide footprint for drag slicks or radials, and the 3-inch backspacing positions the wheel for common rear-end and fender clearance needs on vehicles with the 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
