This Weld Alpha-1 measures 15x13 with a 5x4.5-inch bolt pattern and 3-inch backspacing, built for Ford, Dodge, Plymouth, and Mercury applications at the drag strip.

The wider 13-inch barrel accommodates the broadest drag slicks and radials available in a 15-inch diameter. More contact patch means more traction on the launch, which is where races are won or lost in sportsman competition. The double beadlock rings on both inner and outer lips keep the tire locked to the rim under the stress of hard launches at low pressures.
