WELD Racing's Alpha-1 in the fully polished configuration gives your drag car a classic look in the staging lanes. This is the same 15x14 forged aluminum wheel with a 5x4.75 bolt pattern and 4-inch backspace as the black version, but with a polished anodized center, polished shell, and polished anodized beadlock rings throughout. Every visible surface catches light.

Like all Alpha-1 wheels, this is built for sportsman racers competing in radial and small tire classes. The double beadlock design clamps both the inner and outer tire beads mechanically, keeping the tire seated on the rim during hard launches when tire pressure is dropped for maximum grip. This is especially important in small tire racing where the difference between a good pass and a bad one often comes down to the tire staying planted on the wheel.

Forged in Kansas City, Missouri, the Alpha-1 line is available in 15-inch diameter with widths from 8 to 16 inches and in all popular bolt patterns. This particular combination, 15 inches wide at 14 inches with a 4-inch backspace on the 5x4.75 GM pattern, is one of the most common setups for rear drag wheels on GM-platform race cars. Verify your tire size and wheel well clearance before ordering, as 14 inches of width requires adequate room.
