Product Details
Weld Racing built the Alpha-1 for sportsman racers who need a reliable, strong drag wheel they can count on. This 15x15-inch version features the GM-standard 5x4.75 bolt pattern with 3-inch backspace, making it a natural fit for Camaros, Chevelles, Novas, Firebirds, and dozens of other GM classics.
15 Inches Wide
At 15 inches wide, this wheel accommodates the widest drag radials available in the 15-inch diameter. More tire contact patch means more traction off the line. The 3-inch backspace positions the tire properly under the car for clean fender clearance in most applications.
Double Beadlock MT
Both tire beads are mechanically locked to the wheel, eliminating tire spin on the rim during hard launches. The MT designation targets drag radial and Mickey Thompson-style tire setups that need positive bead retention to put power to the ground.
Forged Aluminum
Forged construction gives you a lighter wheel than cast alternatives without giving up strength. On a drag car, every pound of rotating mass matters -- lighter wheels mean quicker acceleration and better elapsed times.
