The Widest Alpha-1 for GM Cars
At 16 inches wide on a 15-inch diameter, this is the largest Alpha-1 wheel available in the GM 5x4.75 bolt pattern. It accommodates the widest drag tires that will physically fit a 15-inch rim, giving you the biggest possible contact patch for launches. When you are chasing tenths and hundredths at the strip, more tire means more traction.
5-Inch Backspace
The 5-inch backspace positions the wide tire further inboard. On a 16-inch-wide wheel, clearance is tight in most applications. Measure carefully -- many builds running wheels this wide need mini tubs or inner fender modifications. The extra effort is worth it when the light turns green.
Forged and Beadlocked
Forged aluminum construction keeps rotating mass low while handling the stresses of drag launches. The black double beadlock mechanically locks both tire beads to the rim, eliminating slippage under power. Black anodized center and beadlock rings with a polished shell give the wheel a purposeful look.
