This is the Wilwood Forged Superlite brake caliper, a well-known choice for serious performance driving. It's built for demanding applications like short track racing, late models, modifieds, and open-wheel competition, but you'll also find it used in road racing, off-road events, and rally driving. The caliper features 1.12-inch pistons and is designed for use with .81-inch thick discs.

The FSLI model represents an updated design within the Superlite family. Wilwood has redesigned the internal fluid passages to eliminate external crossover tubes. This change removes a potential point of failure and simplifies the plumbing. Instead of a crossover tube, this caliper uses two bleed screw assemblies. Because the piston bores are symmetrical, the caliper can be mounted on either the left or right side, in either a leading or trailing position, offering flexibility during installation.
