This is the Wilwood Forged Superlite brake caliper, a well-built component designed for demanding driving situations like short track racing, late model competition, and various road-racing or off-road applications. It's built around a forged aluminum body, which offers a good balance of strength and light weight. The caliper uses 1.38-inch pistons and is intended for use with .81-inch thick discs.

The FSLI model represents an updated design within the Superlite family. It incorporates internal fluid ports, which get rid of the external crossover tubes. This design change helps prevent potential issues that could arise from a damaged external tube. Replacing the external tube are two additional bleed screw assemblies. This setup makes the caliper symmetrical, meaning it can be mounted on either the right or left side of the vehicle, in either a leading or trailing position, offering flexibility during installation.
