Wilwood is well-known for making robust braking components for racing and high-performance driving. This Superlite FSLI model caliper is a prime example, built for demanding applications like short track racing, late models, and open-wheel competition, but it's also popular for general sport driving and off-road use. It's designed to be a strong performer where consistent stopping power is key.

The FSLI series represents an updated design for the Superlite family. Wilwood has redesigned the internal fluid passages to get rid of the external crossover tubes. This change means you won't have to worry about those tubes getting damaged, which can be a common issue in competitive driving. Instead of one crossover tube, this caliper uses two bleed screw assemblies. Because the piston bores are symmetrical, you can mount this caliper on either the right or left side, in a leading or trailing position, giving you flexibility during installation.
