This Wilwood D52 Front Caliper Kit includes a pair of black anodized 2-piston calipers, hardened slide pins, and BP-10 high-friction brake pads. These calipers are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the original single-piston calipers found on many 1968-1996 GM passenger vehicles and trucks, including models like the Chevrolet Impala, Buick Electra, and GMC C1500. They mount in the stock location and are intended to work with your original rotors and master cylinder, helping to maintain your vehicle's original brake bias.

Wilwood builds these D52 calipers with forged billet aluminum bodies, which offer a significant weight savings over stock cast iron calipers. They also feature stainless steel pistons and competition-style high-temperature seals. This construction helps prevent the rust, bore pitting, and seal failures that can affect original equipment calipers, offering improved reliability and lower maintenance for both street driving and track use. The 2.00-inch pistons provide 6.28 square inches of piston area per caliper, designed to work with your existing master cylinder.

These calipers are designed to fit most wheels that clear your original equipment calipers. For vehicles 1978 and newer that use M10-1.5 banjo bolts, you will need to source new brake lines separately, as the original lines may not be compatible. Matching rear calipers are also available if you're looking to upgrade the entire braking system.
