Starting with the forged billet FDL four-piston calipers, this front drag brake kit is built for serious performance on the strip. These calipers mount directly to the spindle with a bolt-on bracket, making installation straightforward for a wide range of popular muscle car spindles. This kit is specifically designed for drag racing applications, suitable for vehicles weighing up to 2,800 pounds when equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, or up to 2,400 pounds with rear drum brakes.

Wilwood has engineered this kit to significantly reduce unsprung weight, offering an average savings of over 30 pounds compared to stock drum or disc brake setups. This is achieved through the use of forged billet, five-lug hubs paired with direct-mount steel rotors. The rotors are drilled to help manage heat during intense drag racing passes.
