If you're setting up your 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird for serious road racing, this Wilwood Forged Superlite 4R ST BB Front Kit is built to handle the demands of the track. This kit replaces your factory single-piston calipers with a much more robust four-piston setup, designed to give you consistent and powerful braking lap after lap.

Wilwood configured this kit specifically for road racing, using their FSL4R/ST calipers which feature Thermlock® pistons and internal damping springs to manage heat and maintain pedal feel. The calipers are volume-matched for optimal system performance, whether you're using your factory power brake booster and master cylinder or a manual setup. The kit includes two-piece 12.19-inch diameter GT series rotors made from Spec 37 alloy, which are directional vane rotors designed to help dissipate heat effectively. These rotors meet SCCA American Sedan and NASA Pony Car rules, and fit within 16-inch or 17-inch wheels. To reduce unsprung and rotating weight, the rotors mount to forged aluminum hats and are attached to forged aluminum hubs that come with the kit. You'll also get high-temperature Wilwood race compound brake pads, machined billet radial mount caliper brackets, stainless steel braided flexlines, extended wheel studs, hub bearings, grease seals, and all the necessary hardware for installation.

This kit requires modification to your OE factory single-piston caliper spindles to accept the Wilwood caliper brackets. Detailed instructions for these modifications are included with the kit.
