This High Volume Tandem Master Cylinder is built specifically for early Mustangs, from 1964 to 1972, when you're running a manual brake setup. It replaces your original cast iron master cylinder with a lighter, more efficient aluminum unit.

This master cylinder features a 15/16 inch bore size, which is a common choice for manual brake systems, and it comes with the correct pushrod designed to work with the factory brake pedal. The mount flange spacing matches the original manual master cylinder, making installation straightforward. It’s machined from high-pressure die castings, resulting in a solid unit that weighs only 3 pounds, a significant 75% weight reduction compared to typical cast iron cylinders. The fluid outlet ports are located on both sides, giving you flexibility during installation. The internal design has a stroke set at 1.10 inches and a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers, ensuring consistent braking performance.
