This is the Wilwood Starlite 55 rear hub assembly, designed for rear applications with a standard offset. It features 5/8" C studs and a drilled rotor mounting surface, finished in black. The Starlite 55 hub is built from permanent mold, high-density aircraft aluminum, offering excellent strength at a weight comparable to more expensive magnesium assemblies.
Wilwood engineered this hub to be as light as possible without sacrificing strength. They've eliminated unnecessary weight from the hub and its components, and combined with 5-bolt drive flanges and snap-cap front hubs, this results in one of the lightest hub assemblies available.
