This is the Wilwood Narrow Superlite 4R rear brake kit, specifically designed for the 1988-1996 Chevy Corvette C4. It's built for serious track use, replacing your stock single-piston caliper with a high-efficiency, forged aluminum Superlite caliper. This kit is engineered to handle the demands of dedicated track environments.

The forged caliper bodies have a tough, medium gray hard anodized finish. This finish offers excellent wear resistance in the piston bores and stands up well to abrasion and corrosion, which is crucial for components exposed to the elements and high heat. Inside, you'll find stainless steel pistons equipped with internal damping springs. These help control retraction and work with high-temperature seals to ensure long-term durability and consistent braking performance, even under extreme conditions. The caliper piston volume is carefully matched to work with the original master cylinder on production Corvettes, and it can also be configured with manual brake pedals in purpose-built race cars.

This kit includes 12.88-inch slotted rotors. Please note that the parking brake function is eliminated with this kit, as it's intended for track-focused applications where that feature is typically not needed or is handled by a separate system.
