Wilwood Residual Pressure Valve - New Style w/ Fittings - 2# / Blue

This 2-pound residual pressure valve from Wilwood is made from billet aluminum and is color-coded blue for easy identification. It's designed to keep a minimum amount of pressure in your brake lines, which is especially helpful in disc brake setups where the master cylinder is mounted lower than the calipers. Without this valve, gravity and vibration can cause the caliper pistons to retract too much, leading to a longer brake pedal stroke and a spongy feel.

The 2-pound setting is just enough pressure to prevent fluid from draining back, keeping your brake pedal firm and responsive without causing the brakes to drag. This valve comes with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/8-24 inverted flare female fittings, which are ready to connect to most domestic 3/16-inch hard brake lines.
