Wilwood Residual Pressure Valve - New Style w/ Fittings - 4 PSI / Gold

This 4 PSI residual pressure valve from Wilwood is made from billet aluminum and is gold anodized for easy identification. It's designed to keep a minimum amount of pressure in your brake lines, which is especially helpful in systems that experience a lot of vibration, like those found in off-road or dirt circle track racing. By maintaining this residual pressure, it helps prevent excessive brake pedal travel that can happen when fluid drains back due to gravity or vibration, ensuring your brakes are ready to engage without unnecessary lag.

The valve comes with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/8-24 inverted flare female fittings, which are designed to work with most domestic 3/16-inch hard brake lines. This makes installation more straightforward for many setups. Keeping a small amount of pressure in the lines prevents the brake pistons from retracting too far, which can lead to a longer pedal stroke and a less responsive feel.
