Product Details
Wilwood is known for making performance brake components, and their Compact Combination Master Cylinders are a great example of that focus. This particular kit is designed for applications where space is really tight, but you still need the output of a full-size master cylinder. The ultra-short body gives you an extra 2.16 inches of clearance between the mounting boss and the fluid outlet, which can make all the difference in a cramped engine bay.
What's really neat about this design is the integral side mounting lugs. Instead of a traditional flange, it uses lugs with a 3.00-inch center-to-center distance, making it easier to fit into tight spots. It still offers a full 1.12 inches of piston stroke, meeting or exceeding the stroke of most larger cylinders. The fluid outlet port is located at the top of the bore to help prevent trapped air, and the fluid inlet port can accept the included standard reservoir or custom setups with its 11/16-20 internal threads. The aluminum body is black E-coated to resist corrosion and keep it looking good.
