Wiseco 1400 HD Mitsu EVO 8 - 4G63 Turbo -14cc Piston Shelf Stock Kit

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco pistons are built for the demands of high-performance Mitsubishi 4G63 engines, specifically those in the EVO 8. The 2618 alloy offers improved tensile strength, making these pistons well-suited for heavy to severe duty applications where reliability under extreme conditions is critical. Each piston features a fully machined crown, precision ring grooves, and anti-detonation grooves designed to enhance ring seal and overall combustion efficiency.

Wiseco has applied their ArmorGlide skirt coating to these pistons. This specialized coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and contribute to quieter operation, all while handling the intense heat and pressure of performance builds. The design also includes forced pin oiling, ensuring the piston pin receives adequate lubrication to prevent premature wear, a crucial detail for engines pushed beyond their stock limits.

This kit includes four pistons, each with an 87.00 mm bore and a 35.00 mm compression height, along with a 0.866-inch pin diameter. These are shelf stock pistons, meaning they are designed to fit within common build parameters for the 4G63 engine.
