They're forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, which gives them improved tensile strength over cast pistons, making them well-suited for the demands of severe duty applications. The pistons feature precision-machined ring grooves, anti-detonation features, and additional sealing to ensure a good seal under high pressure.

Wiseco also applies an ArmorGlide skirt coating to these pistons. This coating helps reduce friction, which can lead to quieter operation and potentially improved longevity by resisting seizure. The fully machined crown is ready for your build, and the forced pin oiling system helps keep the wrist pin lubricated.
