These pistons are specifically made for the 2008 and newer 4B11 engine found in the EVO X, featuring an 86.25mm bore, which is 0.01 inches larger than stock, and designed to work with an 86mm stroke. They are engineered to achieve a 10.5:1 compression ratio with a 3.5cc valve relief volume, giving you a noticeable bump in power while maintaining reliability for demanding applications.

Wiseco crafts these pistons in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its improved tensile strength, making them well-suited for the stresses of racing. The machining process is meticulous, including precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and features designed to improve ring seal. They also come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating that helps reduce friction and noise, and resists seizure, all while being fully machined on the crown for a clean combustion chamber. The forced pin oiling design ensures the wrist pin stays well-lubricated under extreme conditions.
