Each piston is forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength under high stress.

These pistons feature precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and other features designed to improve ring seal, which is vital for maintaining compression and preventing blow-by in a boosted engine. The ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and resist seizure, while also contributing to quieter operation.
