This Professional Series piston set is built with that reputation in mind, designed for serious racers and builders who need serious durability. These pistons are intended for heavy to severe duty race builds where performance and longevity are critical.
Each piston is forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which offers improved tensile strength for demanding conditions. They feature precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to improve ring seal. The crown is fully machined, and they come with forced pin oiling to ensure proper lubrication. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and operate more quietly.
This set includes eight pistons, each with a +15.6cc combustion chamber volume and a 4.610-inch bore. The compression height is 1.120 inches, and the pin diameter is 0.99 inches. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
