This is the Wiseco BBC Quick 16 Gen II Hollow Dome Piston Set, designed for serious engine builders working on Chevrolet Big Block engines. Each piston in this set is forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength, which is crucial for pistons subjected to high stress and heat. They feature precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features designed to improve ring seal. Additionally, the pistons are treated with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. This coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and contributes to quieter operation, all of which are beneficial in high-performance engines.

The fully machined crown ensures consistent combustion chamber volume across all pistons in the set, and forced pin oiling is incorporated to ensure proper lubrication of the piston pin.
