If you're rebuilding the top end of your 1991-1993 BMW M5 for heavy or severe duty, these pistons are designed to handle the stress.
These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength for demanding builds. They feature precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to improve ring seal. The crown is fully machined, and they include forced pin oiling to keep things well-lubricated. Plus, they come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating that helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and operate more quietly. This set is designed for a 95.00 mm bore with a -6cc dish, resulting in a 12:1 compression ratio.
This set includes six pistons, designed for European applications. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. Always refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions for proper fitment and assembly procedures.
