Wiseco is well-known for making strong internal engine components, and their Professional Series forged pistons are a prime example. This particular piston is built for Chevrolet Big Block engines with a 4.530-inch bore. These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, giving them improved tensile strength. They also feature Wiseco's ArmorGlide skirt coating, which helps reduce friction and resist seizure, all while operating more quietly. The crown is fully machined, and the precision ring grooves, along with anti-detonation grooves and other ring seal improvements, ensure a solid seal under demanding conditions.
