These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength for demanding use. They feature precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to improve ring seal. The fully machined crown also contributes to their robust design. For added durability and smoother operation, they come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating that helps resist seizure, reduce friction, and operate more quietly. The forced pin oiling design ensures the piston pin stays well-lubricated, which is crucial under high stress.
