If you're rebuilding the engine in your 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette for serious performance, these Wiseco pistons are built to handle the stress. They are forged from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength over cast aluminum, making them a solid choice for heavy or severe duty race applications. The -11cc dish design is specific to certain LS engine builds, helping to achieve a desired compression ratio.

Wiseco machines these pistons right here in the USA, paying close attention to details like precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and features that improve ring seal. They also come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. This coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and makes for quieter operation, which is a nice bonus when you're pushing an engine hard. The crown is also fully machined, and the piston features forced pin oiling to keep things well-lubricated under extreme conditions.
