This Professional Series piston set is built for serious LS engine builders who need parts that can handle demanding use. If you're working on a heavy or severe-duty race build for your 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette, these pistons are designed to meet that challenge.
These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength for high-stress environments. They feature precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other ring seal improvements to ensure they perform reliably under pressure. The crown is fully machined, and they include forced pin oiling for better lubrication. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and operate more quietly.
This kit includes a set of 8 pistons, each with a 12cc dome and a 4.005-inch bore. The compression height is 1.300 inches, and the pin diameter is 0.927 inches. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
