If you're building or rebuilding a Chevrolet LS engine, this Wiseco Professional Series piston is a solid option. It's designed for heavy to severe duty race applications, meaning it's built to handle a lot of stress. This specific piston has a 12cc dome volume and a 4.070-inch bore size, making it suitable for many popular LS engine configurations.

Wiseco forges these pistons in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength compared to cast aluminum. You'll also find precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and features designed for better ring seal. The piston crown is fully machined, and the skirt is coated with ArmorGlide, a material that helps reduce friction and resist seizure, while also making operation quieter. This piston also features forced pin oiling to keep the wrist pin properly lubricated under demanding conditions.
