If you're building a serious LS engine for racing or heavy-duty use, these pistons are designed to handle the stress. They're forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength for demanding applications.
These pistons feature a -20cc reverse dome design and a 4.000-inch bore. You'll find precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features aimed at improving ring seal. They also come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating that helps reduce friction and seizure, while also making operation quieter.
