If you're rebuilding the engine in your 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette, especially for high-performance applications, a strong set of pistons is crucial. These Wiseco Professional Series pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, giving them improved tensile strength over cast aluminum, which is essential for handling the stresses of severe duty builds.

Wiseco machines these pistons in the USA, featuring precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features designed to improve ring seal. The crown is also fully machined, and they include forced pin oiling to keep the wrist pin lubricated. For reduced friction and quieter operation, the piston skirts are coated with ArmorGlide, which also helps prevent seizure. These pistons have a -3.2cc dish and a 4.005-inch bore, making them suitable for specific LS engine configurations.
