Starting with a -8cc dish volume, this Wiseco piston is forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength, making it well-suited for demanding engine builds. This specific piston is designed for the Chevrolet LS engine platform, featuring a 4.000-inch bore and a 1.115-inch compression height.
Wiseco's Professional Series pistons are built for heavy to severe duty performance applications. They come with precision-machined ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and features aimed at improving ring seal. The piston crown is fully machined, and it includes forced pin oiling to ensure the wrist pin stays lubricated. Additionally, the skirt is coated with ArmorGlide, which helps reduce friction, resist seizures, and operate more quietly.
