If you're building a high-performance Chevrolet LS engine for serious racing or severe duty applications, you need pistons that can handle the stress. This Wiseco Professional Series piston kit is designed specifically for those demanding builds. Each piston features a -8cc dome volume and a 4.075-inch bore, with a 1.115-inch compression height and a 0.927-inch pin diameter, making them a solid choice for many LS engine configurations.

These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength under high loads. Wiseco has included precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to enhance ring seal, which is critical for power and longevity in a race engine. The fully machined crown ensures consistent combustion chamber volume. For reduced friction and quieter operation, the pistons are treated with an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which also helps prevent seizure. Additionally, forced pin oiling is incorporated to ensure the wrist pin receives adequate lubrication, even under extreme conditions.
