These aren't your average pistons; they're built with Race Engineered Design (RED) principles to give you a competitive edge whether you're on the drag strip or the circle track.

Each piston is forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for performance racing and engines with power adders. Wiseco includes horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure your wrist pins and the small end of the connecting rods stay well-lubricated, helping to extend their service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. You also get an accumulator groove that helps maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.

To further reduce friction and wear, these pistons feature an ArmorGlide skirt coating. This coating not only cuts down on operating friction and noise but also reduces wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall.
